It was almost five o’clock in the morning. The sun wasn’t even a sliver on the horizon yet. Mack tried again to lift her head but she couldn’t. Oh gods, what’s wrong with me! That’s when she realized she was alone. She had fallen asleep holding Kai and now she was alone and frozen on her bed in the dark. Her mind and heart felt crushed at the idea he was gone when the door suddenly burst open.

I originally created this to help be focus on the family unit and get my characters straightened out. I discovered that I could share it with other just recently. I have made a change or two since it was created so if you see one after my book gets released, please email me and I will fix it.
